50 Things to do in Manila

I stumbled upon one of Spot.ph's articles and this one caught my attention.

Interested? It's a 4-part article-list (a 5th one coming soon! HOORAY!!) that features places, activities, must-try's and everything under the sun that one can do in Manila.

The list is pretty interesting and some of it I really want to try. Visiting Paco Park, which is on the list, I'd also recommend. I'm looking forward to hear a mass there on a Sunday with the family. I'm also itching to visit Bookay Ukay ASAP!! Haha. Having more time on my hand makes me want to read books again -- and not to mention, I can get them there cheap!

So before I end up spoiling the list for you, here are the links. Enjoy!

Loving Gelatissimo again!

We just simply love Gelatissimo, don't we? :D During my second visit to Cebu this year, we had another scoop of good gelato from Gelatissimo at The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu.

O hai there!! *waves*

They have new flavors up! Makes the gelato experience more exciting! XD
I had Chocolate truffles while Solomon had the Very Berry one. He said the Very Berry was sweet and the actual berries tastes good. The chocolate truffles, well, the chocolate bits were a bit bitter and having too much of its sweetness might give you sore throat the next day. So I'd still recommend getting the Lick & Sip or a scoop only, then have another round the next day or the other.

Hmmmmm... I can't wait to go back to Cebu this late July or August!
I will update you guys with their new flavors!

Karate Kid's Kani Sushi

After my hemorrhage-causing board exam yesterday, my mother messaged me that she'll treat me to a nice late lunch and some coffee at SM San Lazaro. Something to relieve the stress and perhaps maybe, the depression I'm starting to feel while anticipating for the results.

We decided to get some Binalot meals and then we passed by Karate Kid. I suddenly remembered their Kani Sushi -- a fresh addition to their menu. Kani means `Crab` in japanese, so basically the Kani sushi is rolled rice and crabstick wrapped in nori. Since I first had it last Sunday on Karate Kid Mall of Asia, I have to admit that I liked the taste of it. :)

For Php69.00, you get 6 pieces of Kani sushi. It's not too filling, so I suggest to only have it for merienda or if you have an extra space, have it after taking a meal.

Karate Kid has branches in SM San Lazaro, SM Mall Of Asia, Robinsons Place - Manila, Ayala Avenue, SM Fairview and SM Centerpoint.
